Say Hello To Salem!
Salem is a "wiggle my bottom" type of boy! Salem was first picked up as a stray in a rural high kill gassing pound. He was brought here to the rescue where he was scared of everything. He would shy away if you even touched his collar, he didn't want to come out of his crate. Then over time and being in a home environment, Salem has turned into one of the happiest dogs we've known. He constantly wags his tail...

Say Hello to Finx!
Finx is one of our younger boys here at the rescue. He came with the rest of his family, and he's a bit on the skittish side. He does enjoy taking food from you through the bars, but he's still not sure he likes being held that often. He has had roommates before and he's usually pretty good with them, but he kinda does like the cage to himself.....

The Piggie Lovers Happenings
It's that time of year again when school starts and families become more busy. Around this time High kill pounds and humane societies are being bombarded with an intake of unwanted animals because
there just isn't time We hope that there are families out there that take the time to invite an homeless animal into their home and hearts. It's the most rewarding thing to take someone who was abandoned and bring the light back into their eyes again. Many animals don't get a chance at a happy ending, but if we can help save
one animal we have made a difference. With that said we currently have taken in a few more homeless pets who are wanting a forever home to call their own! Do you want a dog who cuddles or a piggie who wheeks!?! Look no further than to
Our Pet List and hopefully we can match you with your next furry family member!
Mission Statement
Piggie Lovers Inc. is a small home based rescue who tries to help unwanted animals of all sizes and shapes. We mainly specify in rehoming
dogs and
guinea pigs, but do on occassion take in an unwanted rat or hamster. We have been rehoming Guinea Pigs since October of 07' and that following April of 08' we started trying to find a few homes for homeless dogs. We try to help out who we can, when we can. Above all else, finding these homeless animals is the #1 priority. We don't take in certain breeds or types of animals, the ones who are urgently seeking a safe place come to us. We keep all the animals until they find their forever home. We call ourselves their temporary home, we are just one stop away from finding their forever family and
giving them a second chance at a happy ending!
